Property brokerage fee structure

1. Thank you for appointing us to market your property and to perform estate agency services on your property for you.

2. Should we be successful in sourcing a tenant for your property, on terms and conditions acceptable to you in your sole discretion, we will charge you commission calculated as follows:

   • On monthly leases or leases shorter than 1 year:
     
     • the lesser of one month’s rental or 10% of the total rental.
       
       
   • On fixed term leases longer than 1 year:
     
     • 5% of the first two year's rental
       
     • 2,5% of the next three years' rental
       
     • 1,5% of the next three years' rental
       
     • 1% of the balance of the period
       
       

3. The total monthly rental referred to above includes, but is not limited to: basic rental operating costs municipal rate recoveries marketing fund recoveries, and parking.

4. Our fee is payable on your receipt of the tenant’s first rental payment.

5. This fee structure shall regulate the relationship between you and Rennie Property Brokers (Pty) Ltd unless otherwise amended and agreed to in writing.
