FINANCE Minister Pravin Gordhan warned yesterday taxpayers were losing patience with the misuse of public funds, but also pointed a finger at private sector costs of products and services supplied to the state.
The auditor-general’s report for last year found fruitless and wasteful expenditure in the public service had reached R30bn.
